Business Accountant

Business Accountant - Temp 8-12 weeks - £39.56 per hour – London/Hybrid Healthcare membership organisation and trade union is seeking an experienced Business Accountant to support their Accounts Team. This is a temporary role to start ASAP for an initial 8–12-week period and will pay £39.56 per hour PAYE. The role is hybrid working 2-3 days at their Central London offices. The Business Accountant will provide expert advice and support on financial matters to Senior Management and their devolved budget holders. Ensure the monthly management reports and accompanying commentaries are checked for accuracy, completeness and relevance before distribution within the agreed deadlines and take a lead role during the quarterly forecasting process. The ideal Business Accountant will have the following knowledge, skills and experience: Hold a recognised CCAB/CIMA professional accountancy qualification with current membership High level of expertise in a recognised accounting software package (ideally Open Accounts) Ability to demonstrate up to date knowledge of accounting standards and regulation Experience in producing accurate and timely management accounts to multiple departments Experience of accurate budget setting and forecasting Experience of effective involvement in year-end processes Experience of effectively and efficiently importing & exporting data to accounting software Proficient in Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook Experience of delivering formal training sessions using Microsoft PowerPoint or similar to non-financial managers and staff The ability to use strong analytical skills with the ability to research, analyse and investigate to resolve queries and problem solve Experience of working in a member organisation or not for profit ONLY SHORT LISTED APPILCANTS WILL BE CONTACTED
