Job Description

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting a Document controller on a 18 Month Contract based in Isle of Skye. This position is INSIDE IR35 Summary To support the business unit Operations Department to deliver projects effectively by providing a comprehensive Document Management and Handling Service. Responsibilities & Accountabilities: · The management of all project document transactions for the company ensuring all relevant information is accurately recorded on the Document Management System, · The recording of all document transactions for audit purposes, · The recording of all necessary document receipts (transmittals.), · Storing/importing documents onto any required systems, · The management of project correspondence, · The collation and storage of project manuals, · The creation of all necessary drawing and document lists, · The archiving of all project documents at the end of the project, · Providing all necessary assistance to aid the on-site management of documents used during the construction phase · Providing general administration support as necessary, · The management and indexing of standard information, · To maintain the document deliverables list with the guidance of the Project Engineer or Project manager, · Police the document deliverables list ensuring that any late documents are chased, · Produce reports and statistics to inform the project team of the status of the documentation section of the project, · Ensure that all printing, collating, packaging and posting of documents to the required parties is carried out to the standards specified and within the required timescales, · Ensure that all relevant Company procedures are adhered to, · Liaise closely with other Departmental and Company personnel to achieve objectives, · To achieve any personal objectives set through the PEDP or other process, · Review procedures and practices to target continuous improvement of all activities, and to minimise costs, · Produce project posters to communicate key information about the project. Skills & requirements · Educated to A Level standard or equivalent, · Good understanding of engineering projects and document control systems, · CAD systems and advanced Microsoft Office Skills. · English-French speaker could be an advantage.
