Air Conditioning Engineer – Glasgow – Salary up to £45,000 DOE Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking for a fresh opportunity with an excellent work-life balance? CBW is proud to partner with a leading facilities maintenance company. This role involves carrying out small installations, reactive maintenance, and servicing across commercial contracts in Glasgow and the central belt of Scotland. Key Responsibilities: Service, maintain, and troubleshoot a range of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF units, and chillers. Perform routine maintenance tasks like cleaning coils, replacing filters, and servicing moving parts to maximize HVAC lifespan. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Conduct inspections and assessments to identify issues and propose effective solutions. Collaborate with maintenance teams and contractors on complex repairs and system upgrades. Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a safe work environment.What We’re Looking For: Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role in facilities management. F-Gas Cat 1 certification is essential. Full UK driving licence. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, servicing, and repairs. Excellent communication and customer service skills.What’s On Offer: Salary £40,000 - £45,000 On-call rota (1 in 7) with £140 per week door-to-door overtime pay. Overtime at time-and-a-half, with double-time for weekends. Weekend overtime opportunities available. Fully equipped van and fuel card provided. 6.6 weeks of annual leave (including bank holidays).
