This position reports to: Senior Engineering Manager Your role and responsibilities: In this role, you will have the opportunity to support engineering activities in all types of project sizes and complexities, under the supervision of senior engineers. Each day, you will complete the tasks cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting data and supporting production of the engineering design. The work model for the role is: LI-Hybrid. This role contributes to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Sesto San Giovanni. You will be mainly accountable for: Safety analysis of robotic systems according to Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC Safety analysis according to standard EN ISO 12100 Preparation of all documentation and safety analysis, technical file Reference standards: EN ISO 10218-2 Inspections at customer sites Qualifications for the role: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering Knowledge of automated system safety standards Willingness to travel for day trips You possess problem-solving, teamwork, curiosity, and dynamism You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken More about us: ABB's Distribution Solutions Division facilitates the efficient and reliable distribution, protection, and control of power by improving electric power quality while strengthening the resilience of the grid.
