No Offer Description The theoretical and computational research project concerns the quantum properties of matter, with reference to coherent and macroscopic quantum phenomena, such as superconductivity and superfluidity, in systems with high geometric, electronic, and structural complexity, studied with advanced theoretical and numerical methods for interacting many-body quantum systems. The project extends to the role of fluctuations, including topological ones, and of collective modes in the systems considered. Collaborative activities on experimental research in this field are planned. Interdisciplinary applications of the research carried out will be studied for the pharmaceutical, chemical, and life sciences and will be important for the candidate's interaction with the other research groups of the School of Pharmacy.
