Salary: GBP40000 - GBP45000 per annum benefits Earthstream are proud to be recruiting a Controls Support Engineer for a leading provider of automation solutions within the intralogistics industry based in Maranello. Job Role: Controls Support Engineer As a Controls Support Engineer your remit will include: Responsible for application engineering of HMI/PLC systems for fully automated Warehouse Control Systems. Design, coding, specification and test of PLC, HMI and AC and DC drive software. Focal point for on-site technical & commissioning issues. May be required to provide technical support to sales department and assist in the preparation and presentation of sales tenders and proposals. What you will bring to the company: Several years of industrial experience with sound knowledge of either Siemens S7 /TIA or Beckhoff TwinCat 2/3. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings. Experience in the management of subcontractors delivering electrical installations and control systems. Excellent word processing and spreadsheet skills. What the company can offer you: Travel allowances: Specific allowance when travelling (Italy €34.11, EU €68.50, Extra EU €84.57) for each night spent away. Company car: Provided from our pool for onsite visits; travel time from the office to the customer site is paid as working hours. Smart working: Up to three days a week from home after an initial period of presence in the office. Ticket restaurant: €8 for each day worked in the office or at home, with specific policies for travel expenses. Flexible working hours: Standard day is 8am-5pm with flexible start time up to 9:30am.
