Electrical Site Supervisor

Site Electrical Supervisor 3-Month rolling contract Location: Manchester / Yorkshire Gross rate: £30.00p/ h – £35.00p/h DOE CIS / Umbrella / Limited Co. Outside IR35 Food / Manufacturing / FMCG / Process My client is a leading UK engineering projects and installations company, managing large installs for major blue chips manufacturers UK wide. They are recruiting for an experienced Site Electrical Supervisor, for a 3-month rolling contract, with the likelihood of long-term extensions. You will be expected to oversee a small team of installation electricians across sites UK wide (mainly Northern based) within FMCG & Food Process manufacturing. The role of Site Electrical Supervisor will involve the following: Oversee a small team of up to 6 installation engineers – 60% hands on, 40% supervisory/office duties Hands on dismantling and re-installing of equipment to different sites Ensuring all wiring is stripped out effectively and organised for re-installation Ensuring the work scope is on track - Ordering parts & materials when needed Ensure RAMs are being adhered (Risk Assessments & Method statements), and writing RAMs where necessary Work to company processes and standards in conjunction with Project Manager Flexible to drive between sites As Site Electrical Supervisor you will need the following skills and attributes: Time served electrical installations, 2391 Test & Inspection Ideally SSSTS, JIB card, black or gold safety card Proven track record of supervising small teams to meet requirements Pro-active, driven, Team payer, organised Food/beverage process industry experience highly preferable IT skills – MS Outlook, Excel etc. Supply your own industry standard tools/multi-meters etc The benefits of working for this company will include: Long term contract work Outside IR35 Ltd co. suitable Working for a UK leading engineering projects and installations company Varied and interesting projects All expenses – travel/digs covered etc. I am looking to speak to talented Site Electrical Supervisors who are looking for a rewarding and challenging contract position.
