Multi-Skilled Engineer

Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer - Chemical Shift Pattern - DAYS - 37.5 hours per week, early finish on a Friday Location - Widnes Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 Industry - Chemical Multi-Skilled Engineer Role Overview: To ensure proper maintenance and setup of all machines, facilitating a seamless production process and maximising efficiency in accordance with the established quality standards. Multi-Skilled Engineer Job Requirements: •Support and diagnose engineering breakdowns, replacing faulty parts •Enhance, repair, and maintain plant equipment and services according to the preventive maintenance schedule •Install new machinery and equipment •Lead continuous improvement projects during planned downtime •Request spares and consumables •Meet individual performance measures such as downtime, work order closeouts, and equipment availability •Support a preventive maintenance strategy •Undertake predictive, preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance tasks Multi-Skilled Engineer Required Attributes: •2 years' Manufacturing (NO AUTOMOTIVE APPLICANTS) •Multi-Skilled with a Mechanical Bias •HNC & NVQ qualifications in Engineering or equivalent •Pneumatics knowledge required •Mechanical and Electrical fault-finding experience Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
