Quantity Surveyor

Facades Quantity Surveyor required in Essex GVR Solutions are currently representing an existing and well-established client based in Essex who are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their Facades team where you will be working on a number of residential, commercial and educational projects Quantity Surveyor responsibilities: Preparation of cost estimates, cost plans, tender documents, interim valuations of the construction Review project progress and present project data as appropriate Sub-contract Tendering Cost Control and reporting Attend projects meetings Procurement Final Accounts Assist with larger projects The Quantity Surveyor will: Hold a Quantity Surveying degree or Construction Management degree Have experience in Facades. Surveying experience in the construction industry Relevant IT Skills Excellent oral communication and written skills A good knowledge of Maths Strong attention to detail Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills Confident, Articulate and a critical thinker Ability to work to deadlines Willing to undertake training and development when needed.
