We are currently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic and caring team on an ongoing basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an experienced and dedicated staff body, supporting students with a range of needs including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and other SEND conditions. SEND Teaching Assistant Job Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEND. Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored interventions and adapt learning materials. Help students to develop their social and emotional skills in a positive and inclusive setting. Promote independence and self-confidence in the classroom and beyond. Support the implementation of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). What We’re Looking For: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable but not essential—enthusiasm and a commitment to supporting our students are key Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A calm, compassionate, and patient approach to supporting challenging behaviour. A proactive and flexible attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
