Network Engineer

Network Engineer – 3 - month contract – Hybrid - Northampton My customer requires an experienced Network Engineer has a skillset within networks and network troubleshooting. You will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco (Routing & Switching) and Networking BAU tasks. The Network Engineer should have strong experience troubleshooting switches and routers using Cisco. The Network Engineer should have strong knowledge of DHCP, DNS and TCP/IP. This Network Engineer would travel to site 3 days a week in Northampton and work 2 days remote every week. Primary day to day responsibilities will for the Network engineer will include: Previous experience as a Cisco Network Engineer Strong Cisco Networking skills (administration, configuration, and troubleshooting) Strong technical knowledge of Cisco routing and switching – BAU Support. Strong experience with DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP Experience with Cisco ACI would be beneficial Experience with Cisco DNA would be beneficial Experience with Checkpoint firewalls would be beneficial Relevant Network Certifications (CCNA, CCNP etc) This Network engineer is required onsite in Northampton 3 days per week.
