Geography Teacher Location: Tower Hamlets Salary: £165 - £265 per day Start Date: 20th January 2025 Contract: Temporary until February half term Are you a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire students and make a difference? GSL Education London Branch are seeking a Geography Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive co-educational comprehensive secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This is a fantastic chance to work in a supportive environment, delivering high-quality geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. Geography Teacher Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and creative Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. Foster a positive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their full potential. Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with the school’s policies. Work collaboratively with the Humanities department to develop and enhance the Geography curriculum. Ensure all students are supported in their learning journey and address individual needs effectively. Maintain excellent classroom behaviour management and promote a safe learning environment. Geography Teacher Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification in Geography. Proven experience as a Geography Teacher in a UK secondary school setting. Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach Geography up to GCSE level. A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring students in the field of Geography. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A valid enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one. Why Join GSL Education?
