Senior Estimator

Trading for over 30 years within the reinforced concrete frame and groundworks sector, our client is leading name within the field, current turnover is over £100m per annum. They currently complete packages ranging in value from £10m up to £50m. Responsibilities: The conversion of tenders for large-scale civils/structures/bridges/infrastructure projects Tendering for various project phases on HS2 Preparation of tender submissions Measuring and take-offs from drawings Producing bills-of-quantities Cost Planning Pre and post Contract meetings with clients to sell not only the price but the reason they should pick your business over others too Build-up of tender price from first principles based on plans, programme, and scope of works Requirements: Previous experience as an Estimator/Senior Estimator Main Contractor / Principal Contractor experience Experience of civil engineering/structures/bridges/infrastructure projects Have a robust knowledge of pricing and current rates for the concrete structures Experience in the conversion of tenders for projects over £10m plus The ability to communicate effectively and work on your own initiative Decisive and reliable with excellent attention to detail Salary / Remuneration: Competitive salary or day rate, depending on experience.
