Site Manager

We are a leading interior fit-out contractor, renowned for delivering exceptional projects across the Retail, Leisure, Commercial, and Residential sectors nationwide. With an ever-expanding portfolio and thriving business, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join our team. This exciting role focuses on a new build warehouse project, starting from the ground up. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing subcontractors and direct labour to ensure projects run efficiently, maintaining quality standards, and meeting critical deadlines. You’ll work in close collaboration with a floating Project Manager who will oversee the site, supporting you in running operations as effectively as possible. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Overseeing all on-site activities to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within budget. Managing and coordinating subcontractors and direct labour teams to maintain productivity and adherence to safety standards. Working closely with the floating Project Manager to identify and resolve any potential challenges or risks to the project timeline. Ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications. Maintaining accurate project documentation, including progress reports and schedules. What We’re Looking For: Proven track record of managing fast-paced new build projects in the commercial or industrial sectors. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage expectations, motivate teams, and drive project success. Experience handling high-value projects, with budgets in the region of £25m or more. Solid background working with main contractors, delivering complex builds efficiently. Excellent IT and communication skills. Certifications: SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS are essential. Ideally, you’ll hold a relevant trade qualification, showcasing your in-depth understanding of construction processes. Why Join Us?
