Mgr-Tech Lead

Position Summary: The Manager, Technical Lead Who we are looking for: This opportunity is part of the Global Technology Enterprise Products & Platforms (EPP) Team, focused on Cloud ERP, where our vision is to Always be a people led, product centric, future focused & trusted technology partner of choice. The Manager, Technical Lead supports the Technical Product Management leadership in technical / IT related delivery topics (e.g., trade-offs in implementation approaches, tech stack selection) and provides technical guidance for developers / squad members. Manages the output (quality and efficiency) of external vendor squads to ensure they are delivering to the standards required by McD. Participate in roadmap and backlog preparation. Builds and maintains technical process flows and solution architecture diagrams on Product level. Leads acceptance criteria creation and validation of development work. Supports hiring and development of engineers. This position reports to the Sr. Technical Product Manager. In this role, you will: Product roadmap and backlog preparation In partnership with the TPM, participate in roadmap and backlog prioritization, providing technical perspectives towards translating Epic into user stories for the Develop team to work on, as well as backlog refinement processes. Agile ceremonies Attend all product team ceremonies and act as leader of the Software Development Engineers Technical solutioning and feature development / releases: Lead and manage mid/large Teams consisting of Sr. Technical Analysts, Business Analysts, developers, and Product QA Teams. Owns and authors the technical design for markets and related data mapping. Provides guidance and necessary clarifications to the boundary and integration systems. Works with boundary and integration systems to troubleshoot and mitigate any source / destination issues and requirements. Work and support with Business Users and Product Teams on Incident Management / Request Management/Problem Management /Change Management and Knowledge Management. Analyze Patches and plan patch deployment activities. Work with Infrastructure team on issues and impacts. Work with Solution Architects for maintaining, developing, and enhancing the product. Driving market requirements, designing solutions, and assessing technical issues and working on resolutions with Team. Act as a Subject matter expert in Oracle Cloud ERP Technology stack. Experience in deployment roll out across network of geographically. Collaborate with other technology teams including internal teams, service provider and vendors. Ensure application service levels are maintained as per agreed standards. Accountable for the deployment of new features including QA, push to production and defect remediation. Ensure code development is in line with the architectural, quality and security standards and best practices. Maintain documentation standards for all software and lead acceptance criteria validation of development work. Ensure product delivery is done to a high standard with high performance across latency and scalability, extensibility, and security. Management of software developers Manages the daily activities of the developers. Continuous Improvement and Feedback Foster a culture of continuous improvement by soliciting feedback from customers, internal stakeholders, and team members. Use feedback to iterate on the product roadmap, prioritize enhancements, and drive product innovation over time. Qualifications : Bachelors degree in computer science or engineering. 8 years of software development experience (or 6 years experience with a Masters degree), with knowledge of Agile software development process including application of Agile techniques and delivery practices and promoting adoption of Agile methodologies to secure outcome-driven mindset in product teams. Oracle Technical certifications preferred. Technical expert skills in Oracle Cloud ERP and areas such as: Oracle APIs, SQL, XML, PLSQL, OTBI / BIP / FRS reports, FBDI, ADFDI, BPM workflows, BI Extract for FTP, Integration and Personalization, Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI). Skilled in ESS Jobs/ OM Extensions / Flex Fields (DFF, EFF, KFF) / Lookups / Value sets / Fusion Apps functional setup manager configurations. Hold extensive development experience in Data Modeling, SQL, PLSQL, including the creation of Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, Views, and Performance Tuning. Proficient in Fusion-based Integration development utilizing OIC. Expertise with Web Services and the use of Oracle Cloud delivered Web Services (SOAP / REST). Experience working and managing technical teams that manage an important product and / or a suite of products. Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders. Highly experienced working collaboratively with business partners to drive outcomes and solve complex technical challenges.? Excellent understanding of latest development technologies. Strong innovation skills to identify, develop, and make improvements to techniques, procedures, services, or products. Expertise in DevOps, Security and Systems Performance desirable. Knowledge of Finance business processes and a clear understanding of finance best practices. Basic understanding of Oracle Applications FBDI templates to load data into Oracle Cloud Applications. Understanding of Oracle cloud platforms and experience with cloud-native architecture. Expert in SQL, XML, PLSQL, OTBI / BIP / FRS reports, BPM workflows, Integration and Personalization, integrations / API calls using OIC. Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Foundational expertise in security: security standards, SSO, SAML, OAUTH, etc. Hands-on experience working with Oracle ERP Cloud Finance modules Payables, Receivables, General ledger, Cash Management, Assets, Projects etc. Work location: Hyderabad, India
