The most important tool for preventing and containing damage is constant and widespread monitoring. The FORMA project aims to develop innovative solutions for automated monitoring in forest and alpine environments. We envision a combined use of aerial drones and robotic legged platforms for digitalization tasks that are normally done manually and are consequently time-consuming and difficult.
