Posting Date: 23 Jan 2025 City: Roma Location: Roma, IT, 144 Contract Type: Permanent Division: Sustainability and Business Innovation Level of experience: Intermediate RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Project Manager to join its office in Roma within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division. Mission The Junior Project Manager works directly under customer control. Their mission is to perform a range of engineering tasks with a focus on design, technical documentation, project support, and fieldwork. They utilize their expertise to contribute to the successful execution of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to standards, quality, and safety protocols. Key Accountabilities Planning and monitoring procurement activities: Collaborate with the procurement team to define and update the procurement plan, ensuring the monitoring of orders and eligibility requests submitted to the national client. Management of authorization documentation: Oversee the preparation and review of documentation required by the client for internal and external authorizations, including Release of Information (ROI) for external suppliers. Control and management of deliverables: Ensure proper configuration control over deliverables and produced artifacts, guaranteeing their registration, versioning, and storage in the Configuration Management System (CMS). Monitoring orders and financial control: Manage orders in SAP, ensuring data extraction and processing for client reporting, preparing reports for Finance, and monitoring deviations from the plan. Support for internal and program reporting: Provide detailed data analysis to produce management and financial reports, including support for drafting monthly financial statements. Management of the Asset Register: Oversee the classification of purchased CAPEX materials, ensuring the Asset Register is updated with all client-required information (cost, location, operational status, Part/Serial Number). Support for material classification and identification: Coordinate the collection of technical information needed for the cataloging and identification of purchased materials, ensuring that data is complete and meets client requirements. Labeling and traceability of materials: Manage the creation and application of labels for materials, ensuring information from the Asset Register is correctly transposed and guaranteeing traceability and exclusive client ownership. Education Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Management Engineering Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience. Technical and Programmatic Expertise: Strong knowledge of program and project management principles, with a focus on technical and programmatic integration across teams; Proficiency with Project Management Tools: Experienced in using Office Automation tools, Oracle Primavera, Microsoft Project, SAP, and Matrix to plan, monitor, and control project activities. Procurement and Vendor Coordination Skills: Proven ability to collaborate with procurement teams for planning, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with client requirements for documentation and authorizations; Configuration and Documentation Management: Demonstrated expertise in managing configuration control, versioning, and documentation processes using systems such as CMS. Financial Management and SAP Skills: Proficient in SAP for managing orders, extracting data, preparing financial reports, and performing variance analysis for effective project controlling. Analytical and Reporting Abilities: Advanced skills in analyzing complex data sets and creating detailed reports for internal stakeholders and clients, tailored to program-specific needs. Strong Language Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively in an international environment. Attention to Detail in Asset and Material Management: Skilled in asset classification, data collection, and material traceability processes, ensuring accurate and compliant documentation and labeling.
