Projects, Development and Construction Associate

Sellick Partnership is seeking an associate to join a firm in London, working in the growing construction team. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with 0-3 years of experience in the construction industry, ideally within a construction team or housing practice. Key Responsibilities: Assist with non-contentious construction law matters, including advising on standard form construction contracts and appointments. Work with various forms of construction contracts such as JCT, NEC, and EPC, gaining experience in their standard amendments and market norms. Contribute to complex and bespoke agreements, providing support on large-scale due diligence exercises and development arrangements with appropriate supervision. Collaborate with senior team members and clients on commercial and housing development work. Support business development efforts and contribute to building know-how in the practice. Key Qualifications: 0-3 years of experience in construction law or a related field. Previous exposure to non-contentious construction law and standard form construction contracts (JCT, NEC, EPC). Some experience with commercial and/or housing development work is desirable. Strong understanding of construction contracts and appointments, including knowledge of market norms and standard amendments. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail. A proactive attitude and eagerness to take on complex projects with appropriate supervision.
