Interim Financial Controller | Birmingham | 9 month contract | £500-600/day ZH006 We’re excited to partner with a fast-growing, privately-held Professional Services company as they embark on a transformative phase as a result of a buy out from a Private Equity firm. To lead this change, they’re looking for an Interim Financial Controller to take charge of the finance function and drive key initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals looking to expand their Private Equity exposure, enhance leadership skills, and make a meaningful impact at a critical time in the business. Key Responsibilities : Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely month-end reporting Enhance financial controls, processes, and systems to support scalable growth Lead and manage a high-performing finance team, providing guidance and support Support the preparation of statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP Deliver in-depth financial analysis to aid strategic decision-making Collaborate with senior stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Assist with audits and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements Skills & Experience : ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) Strong technical accounting skills, including statutory reporting and consolidations Experience in a Private Equity-backed business is highly desirable Must be willing to be in the office 3 days a week
