Legal Advisor

Job Title: Legal Advisor (Associate Level) Location: Essex (2 days in office) Reports To: Contracts and Compliance Manager Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £35,000 (Base Salary) Company Overview: My client is a leading international recruitment business. They work globally with clients and candidates. Their team is dynamic, fast-paced, and inclusive. Job Summary: "We are seeking an Associate-Level Legal Advisor to join our growing legal team. Reporting to the Contracts and Compliance Manager , you will provide day-to-day legal support in areas such as contract management, compliance and employment law." Key Responsibilities: Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (client agreements, NDAs, supplier contracts). Ensure compliance with relevant laws and company policies. Compliance & Corporate Governance: Assist in ensuring compliance with international regulations, including GDPR. Employment Law: Assist with employment law matters, including drafting contracts and responding to employee queries. Help resolve employment-related disputes. Risk Management: Help identify legal risks, Ensure business operations align with legal requirements. Legal Research & Advisory: Conduct legal research on emerging issues affecting the business and provide advice on legal matters as needed. Qualifications & Experience: Experience in contract drafting and compliance, with experience working with a compliance team within the recruitment sector. Strong attention to detail, good drafting skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
