About the Role As a Working Foreman, you will play a dual role, combining hands-on involvement in the work with supervision and leadership responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage daily team activities to ensure efficient workflow and productivity. Provide clear instructions and guidance to team members on tasks and safety protocols. Monitor project progress, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and safety compliance. Assist in training new employees and foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Collaborate with management to identify and implement improvements. Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials, and on-site incidents. The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results efficiently. A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. A valid UK driving licence (required).
