Job Description

Health, Safety & Environmental Manager Cheshire Food Manufacturing £50,000 - £55,000 10% Bonus and 8% pension. Here’s the thing about HSE roles: They’re often a box-ticking exercise. Not this one. This one is about taking ownership. About driving real, tangible change. A mission-driven global organisation is looking for an HSE Manager to help shape its future. They’ve got ambitious goals, and they need someone who can bring passion, expertise, and a no-nonsense approach to make them happen. What’s in it for you? You’ll lead from the front, driving the site’s environmental, health, and safety strategy. You’ll be part of a wider team of H&S professionals, sharing ideas and best practices across international business units. This isn’t a tick-the-box gig. It’s about: Rolling out global H&S standards and making them work on the ground. Developing environmental management systems that actually manage things. Digging into the data and finding opportunities to make things better. Guiding teams through incident investigations and turning mistakes into lessons learned. It’s not for everyone. You’ll need the qualifications (IEMA/NEBOSH or equivalent). You’ll need experience leading HSE on-site. But most importantly, you’ll need to be the kind of person who doesn’t just talk about safety and sustainability – you make it happen. Why bother? Global career opportunities – if you’ve got the ambition, they’ll back you. A culture that’s big on collaboration and values that actually mean something. The chance to work for a company that’s focused on doing good, not just doing business. Sound like your kind of challenge? It’s time to step up.
