Chief Financial Officer – Data Centers London £250,000 - £300,000 Plus Bonus & Equity TJ29371 Finatal is partnered with a leading large-cap infrastructure fund to find a new CFO for a continental, European Data Centres business looking to scale five-fold over the next five years leading to exit. The business is high growth and currently has two operational data centres delivering circa 20mW. They plan to scale up to 100mW plus through construction of new sites. The data centers are AI ready, 100% powered by renewable, hydro-electric energy and benefit from low energy costs. They are looking for a PE proven CFO to join the business to work alongside the sector expert CEO, Chairman & investors to spearhead this growth and build a strong finance function around them. Key responsibilities include: · Supporting the CEO, board and PE investor, as part of the senior leadership team, to drive the implementation of the growth strategy, including all corporate and financial matters. · Building an in-house team, establishing key dashboards and KPI metrics to effectively manage and drive overall business performance · Drawing on interest and experience in infrastructure and technology to question the status quo and where necessary propose innovation and improvements to the business. · Leading all business operations including finance, legal, HR and IT. Operational experience: • Plan, build and manage the strategic direction of the finance and business operations functions. • Build necessary systems, processes and controls, developing the BI, ERP and project management platform • Oversee and manage cashflow and treasury operations to ensure cash needs are met • Lead preparation and presentation of monthly Board meetings to review current and future trading and financial position • Oversee and manage the accounting, tax, compliance, reporting, forecasting, budgeting. • Manage relationships with auditors, lenders, banks, tax advisors • Lead investor relations and lender reporting and compliance with complex covenants • Ensure all statutory compliance and filings are current in all jurisdictions To be considered for this role you must have: • Been CFO for at least two PE backed high growth tech companies • Experience as CFO in a large leveraged complex infrastructure / construction business • Managing complex infrastructure project finance with multiple lenders • Recently built/developed financial systems and controls for a high growth tech company • International cross border group structures and operating environments with decentralized teams • Complex global tax planning with OECD compliant transfer pricing policies implemented
