Labour Manager

NRL are working with a leading M&E Contractor who require a Labour Manager to join their team, initially on a 12 month FTC, this role does have potential to be permanent. You will be accountable for weekly paid staff that operate on various working rule agreements. You will take the lead on any local resourcing conflicts and ensure the best solution is achieved. The Labour Managers role is to provide effective management of operative labour, to support the work of multiple projects. Personal Skills ▪Innovative thinking to support the needs of the operations. ▪Ability to verbally communicate at all levels of seniority to build rapport, trust and respect. ▪Resilient and flexible when under pressure and can demonstrate agility in a changing landscape. ▪Motivated to seek out where improvements can be made and progressive in identifying effective and efficient ways of managing the weekly workforce. ▪Keen eye for detail and resilient to balance conflicting priorities. Essential: ▪Relevant M&E installation / construction industry experience. ▪GCSE qualification or higher in Maths and English Desirable: ▪NVQ Level 3 – either electronically or mechanically biased ▪Good knowledge of work rule agreements
