Job Description Define and implement the procurement strategy, aligning it with business objectives and requirements. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the purchasing department, ensuring continuity and efficiency of supplies. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with strategic suppliers, monitoring performance and quality. Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms, quality of goods and services, and adherence to budgets. Analyze and monitor market trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential areas for cost savings. Collaborate with the logistics and operations team to ensure that supplies align with business requirements. Oversee the procurement process at a global level, coordinating international purchases and optimizing the supply chain. Ensure compliance with company policies and local and international laws regarding procurement and contracts. Prepare periodic reports and present analysis and recommendations to senior management. Manage and motivate the purchasing team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment. The Successful Applicant Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Logistics, or related fields. At least 8-10 years of experience in leadership roles in procurement, preferably in the logistics and transportation sector. Advanced knowledge of strategic purchasing practices and supplier management. Excellent negotiation skills and contract management experience. Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills. Solid analytical skills and a results-oriented approach. Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
