Job Description
Job Title: Area Sales Manager (International) Location: Italy Area Sales Manager (International) is the role focused on increasing sales and building strong customer relationships to strengthen BLM Group's global presence. It is important to have significant sales and technical experience, gained in industrial companies leaders in Machine Automation, Machine Tooling, investment goods or B2B technical products. The role requires frequent travel abroad; in Italy, the work locations will be in Cantù (CO) or Levico Terme (TN) at the Group's main offices. Main Responsibilities To develop and consolidate the presence of BLM Group in the world market; To take care of and guarantee customer satisfaction, so that the success of the customer is also a success for BLM Group; To stimulate Product Development, investigating the needs of customers and markets, and passing information to internal areas (starting from Service, Research and Development, Technical Office); To develop and take care of internal and external sales network. Main Activities Planning and management of sales areas (assigned territories), in order to map and track the presence of Customers and Prospects; Collection and analysis of customer’s and market’s needs, sharing them with the Sales and Service Management; Definition of annual budgets, and quarterly reviews, in accordance with the Sales Department; Implementation of strategies to finalize the Sales, also in collaboration with Marketing and Communication; Organization of customer visits, according to targets, priorities and ongoing negotiations; Supervision of the release of offers and definition of sales contracts; Management and development of the sales network, through the recruiting of valid collaborators and the organization of training activities. Must have Previous experience (minimum 3 years) in Sales and/or Technical Service at industrial companies operating in the BtoB sector; Qualification from a technical (engineering) or scientific (physics, computer science) background; Good command of Italian and English (B2/C1 level of European classification); Professional knowledge of a second foreign language (French and Spanish); Aptitude for 'Sales Negotiation'; Good interpersonal skills, marked by empathy and communication effectiveness; Positive attitude, characterized by energy and resilience; Availability for frequent travel out of Italy (2-3 weeks per month; an Area Sales Manager dedicates about 70% of annual work to travel); Use of software and platforms integrated into sales process management and customer management. Nice to have Previous experience from the foreign commercial point of view; Professional experience in machine design or industrial process management; Bachelor's degree in mechatronic engineering.
