Service Engineer

We are currently seeking a Service Engineer to join our After Sales & Services Department at CAREL HQs in Brugine (Padova). ROLE GOALS The Service Engineer takes care of all Trouble Tickets that Field Operations identifies as 2nd level. This includes providing written technical advice, customer visits, or technical telephone assistance. The goal is to improve the quality level of Carel by having interactions with R&D and Quality as the reference for a product line in the field. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES: Perform complex and important technical support interventions, either in the field or remotely. In alignment with the Field Operations department, prioritize and plan external assistance interventions, including commissioning, extraordinary maintenance, and reports on product issues; approve field reports for payment. Ensure the team has the appropriate level of knowledge on products, applications, and intervention methods; identify knowledge gaps and coordinate training with Platforms and Knowledge Centre. Support local Subsidiaries and Knowledge Centre in identifying local knowledge gaps of Services staff and provide training to ensure staff autonomy. Conduct internal tests to verify procedures of typical HVAC units (Chiller, Rooftop, AHU, VRF), understanding thermodynamic/physical principles such as defrosting, cycle inversion, oil return, and preheating. Analyze data from After Sales process-monitoring tools (e.g., ticketing system) for the assigned product line to provide valuable information to Quality, Platforms, and Sales regarding product behavior during commissioning or after sales. Propose improvements in the methods and tools of After Sales interventions across the Group.
