Plant Layout Engineer - Renewables Gas

On behalf of a global leader in solutions for energy transition and circular economy, including Energy from Waste and Renewable Gas, we are looking for a: Plant Layout Engineer – Renewable Gas The ideal candidate has relevant experience in layout engineering and is able to work effectively within multidisciplinary and structured engineering teams. He/she will be involved in both greenfield projects and in revamping and retrofit activities worldwide, dealing with a wide range of technologies and processes. Main responsibilities: Develop the layout of systems and equipment for upgrade and retrofit proposals and execution projects; Prepare, update and check various plans such as layout, load tables, construction data, steel construction, platforms, ducting, and piping and component drawings; Incorporate and check drawings from external and internal suppliers; Ensure the exchange of all required layout data with the project team as well as with consortium partners and suppliers of engineering services; Attend internal and external meetings as necessary to review models; Act as the contact person in the project team for all layout-related issues in the assigned area; Ensure maintainability, accessibility, and constructability studies in the assigned area. Requirements: Good knowledge of Revit (Autodesk) and other engineering tools, such as Navisworks, AutoCAD, Aveva E3D; Experience in plant/layout design for Renewable Gas Plants or equivalent regarding structural and mechanical designs, piping routing, and equipment/systems arrangement; Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering) or technical apprenticeship as Design Engineer or Plant Construction Engineer; Profound understanding of 2D and 3D CAD methodology; Fluency in English; Italian and German are a plus; Autonomous, solution-driven, and persuasive personality; Willingness to travel approx. 10%.
