No Offer Description The research aims to explore the topic of data stewardship in the European legal framework, starting with the "European Data Strategy" (COM 2020/66), with particular reference to EU Regulation 2022/868 (Data Governance Act), EU Regulation 2023/2854 (Data Act), and EU Regulation 2024/1689 (AI Act). In light of the investigation of this regulatory framework, the intent is to analyze and shape the role of so-called "data stewardship," both in the public and private sectors, exploring the legal and ethical challenges of responsible and accurate data management. In this perspective, the issues of education (data and AI literacy) and accountability of the so-called "data steward" profile, as well as the issue of necessary regulatory coordination in light of the potential fragmentation of the European regulatory framework in the Digital Single Market will be particularly analyzed.
