Health And Safety Advisor

TEXO Recruitment are looking for a dedicated Health & Safety Advisor to join our external clients HSEQ team based in Blyth, Northumberland . As a H&S Advisor, you will work closely with the H&S Manager to promote a safety first culture, ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, and drive continuous improvement in health and safety practices across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Assist with Health and Safety matters including liaison with national safety, regulatory and enforcement bodies. Proactively assist with continual improvement. Support on the review, development and implementation of Risk Assessments, Non-Conformances, & Method Statements. Strong presence around the Port and assisting managers / supervisors on implementation of H&S procedures and actions. Attend Health and Safety management meetings and help implement existing and new legislation. Investigate and record any incidents correctly and accurately. Assist with internal and external audits. What We’re Looking For: Working towards or holding an industry recognised qualification, such as the nebosh national general certificate. Demonstrable knowledge of health & safety regulations and their practical application. Ideally, prior experience in an industrial or logistics environment with a proactive approach to health and safety management. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
