OT Engineer- Cyber Security Testing

Are you an experienced OT (Operational Technology) Engineer ? Have you worked in the Energy, Utilities or Manufacturing sectors ? Do you have experience in Cyber Security or an active interest in it ? If so I have a fantastic new role with a leading energy company who have significant growth plans. Due to nature of the role and the type of security testing that they do you will need to work 5 days a week on-site at their office in Perth (will go to 4 days when experienced in role) You will be working in their cutting edge security test centre ensuring the safety & reliability of their equipment and systems. You also need to be eligible to go through security clearance so must have lived and worked in the UK for the last 5 years. Responsibilities include: Conduct thorough security evaluations of OT devices and create strong hardening configurations and processes. Ensure their systems meet security standards and verify vendor compliance with OT security protocols. Efficiently and effectively complete project tasks. Develop and enhance security processes and procedures, recommending improvements to existing practices. Work closely with wider OT and Field engineering teams to support research and testing for both existing and new devices and systems. Your experience should include: Experience working within an Operational Technology (OT) or Distributed Control System (DCS) environment Working understanding systems like SCADA and PLC Cyber security knowledge Tech skills across networking, Windows and Linux Ability to work on own initiative and manage workload with minimal input from others. Professional security certification, such as a Global Industry Cyber Security Professional Certification (GICSP) would be great to have but not essential. For more information get in touch asap.
