2x Building Surveyor - Expert Witness

Employment Type: Full time permanent Salary : £45k to £65k DOE Location: North London and South London Corelain is an independent provider of professional services across the Construction, Real Estate, Land and Infrastructure sectors. We are seeking two experienced surveyors to primarily act as an Expert Witness in Housing Condition Claims. Our building surveying team is uniquely placed to provide Expert Witness Services to both claimants and defendants and we also undertake a variety of party wall surveys, valuations, pre-purchase surveys, heat loss and thermographic investigations and provide design input for various residential and educational developments. Main Responsibilities Carrying out inspections and producing reports in accordance with instructions received Liaising with administrative colleagues to organise appointments and preparation of the reports Responding to queries and Part 35 Questions as required Responding to information requests from instructing solicitors Other Building Surveying tasks as required Skills and Qualifications Ideally have RICS accredited Building Surveying degree AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS, may consider MCIOB if suitably experienced Experienced in Housing Condition Claims but training can be provided to candidates with suitable residential building pathology experience IT proficient Employee Benefits: 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) Mileage allowance Pension scheme Bespoke training Personal development opportunities Reports to: Director of Real Estate Business Division: Real Estate By applying for this role you agree to share your information with Corelain via the BuildMyTalent platform.
