No Offer Description To investigate the involvement of 27-hydroxycholesterol (27HC) in the mechanisms of resistance to mitotane in patients with adrenal cancer. In particular, the metabolic effects exerted by 27HC, which limit the anti-tumor effect of mitotane, will be investigated. Experiments will be performed on both adrenocortical carcinoma cell lines and in vivo models.
