We are looking for a Service Technician to join our team in Campania Region, Italy. As a Service Technician, you will work together with another technician executing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and troubleshooting inside the wind turbines. How to contribute to our vision The candidate will perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance in wind-turbine generators. You should have a desire to learn about electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics as you will be responsible for the general maintenance of the turbines. Your main tasks consist of: Implementing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance actions on the electrical and electronic parts of the turbine. Analyzing and diagnosing faults in the electronic and electrical systems, using specific schemes and automated control systems as support. Identifying the fault, carrying out the repair and replacement of parts, modules, or tools. It is crucial that you will be fully compliant with SGRE safety codes and have a history of being able to follow set procedures. As a person, you are compliant, flexible, and eager to work in a job that will offer you freedom and great opportunity to learn and become an independent problem-solver. You will be multitasking and planning service activities while coordinating these activities within your team. We are looking for someone who is accurate and has a high safety awareness. What you need to make a difference Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for someone with: At least a high school diploma (mechanical or electrical is a plus). Minimum 3 years of experience in electricity. Experience in the wind industry is considered an advantage but not a necessity. Basic English skills, both written and verbal. The role is physically demanding and requires working in high altitudes. A driving license is a requirement, and you should be flexible and prepared to travel as our wind farms are spread over a large geographical area.
