Position Summary: Tech End User Support McDonalds India is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Tech End User Support Specialist to join our team in Hyderabad. Reporting to the Tech Infrastructure Lead, this role is critical in ensuring seamless day-to-day IT operations and providing exceptional support to McDonalds India employees As part of the Tech team, you will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, assist with IT service requests, and help maintain a secure and efficient technology environment. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality support to end users. Assist in managing the day-to-day IT operations for McDonalds India, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues to ensure smooth functioning. Provide direct support to end users by resolving technical issues and fulfilling service requests efficiently. Monitor and report on the performance of IT systems and services, escalating issues to senior team members when necessary. Support system maintenance tasks such as software updates, security patching, and hardware replacements under guidance from senior staff. Collaborate with team members to understand and address tech needs, assisting with small-scale upgrades or enhancements to support business operations. Help implement standardized processes to improve the quality and consistency of IT services. Follow established cybersecurity protocols to ensure data and system security, escalating concerns to the appropriate teams. Assist in tech-related projects by performing assigned tasks, ensuring timely execution and alignment with organizational goals. Who we are looking for: Min 3 years of experience in IT support or a related field, preferably in a corporate or shared service center (SSC) environment. A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Entry-level certifications such as CompTIA A, ITIL Foundation, or CCNA are a plus. Basic understanding of infrastructure components such as networks, servers, and cybersecurity, with a willingness to learn and develop further expertise. Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and end-user systems. Ability to follow established processes and guidelines while escalating complex issues to senior team members as needed. Good communication and interpersonal skills to provide effective support to end users and collaborate with team members. A proactive attitude with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality support services. Familiarity with monitoring tools or basic data analysis to report on system performance is desirable but not required. Work location: Hyderabad, India
