Job Description

Our client, a German multinational energy company, is actively expanding its renewable energy portfolio across Europe, including Italy. The company aims to develop 10 gigawatts (GW) of onshore wind and solar photovoltaic (PV) farms across key European markets—such as Germany, France, the UK, Italy, Sweden, Hungary, and Poland—by 2030, reaching ready-to-build status. Key responsibilities: The Grid Engineering team is responsible for creating grid connection solutions for solar, wind, and battery storage projects from the conceptual design to execution across Europe. Contribution to the development and realization of renewables projects at all stages focusing on grid connection and substation topics. Undertaking engineering assessments to define technical specifications, design and drawings, overall scope for contracting as well as CAPEX requirements. Engaging with DNO/TNOs to secure and develop grid connections. Defining and overseeing external engineering services, as well as the scope of technical contracts. Applying various engineering applications, e.g., Powerfactory and AutoCAD. Provide feedback and contribute to continuous improvement in all areas. Your profile: University Degree in Electrical Engineering. (Advanced vocational qualifications and practical experience is considered). Strong/In-depth experience in the field of electrical grid engineering. Solution-orientated working, able to make high-quality decisions.
