Interim Year-end Financial Accountant

Role: Interim Year-end Financial Accountant Contract: 6 months Location: Remote Day Rate: £350-£450 DOE, Outside IR35 RB010 Finatal is pleased to be partnered with a leading financial services firm based in The Midlands. As they continue to grow, both organically and through acquisition, the team are seeking a talented and experienced Year-End Accountant to join their dynamic team. Role Purpose The Year-End Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the financial reporting processes. You will be responsible for managing end-of-year accounting tasks, including management accounts, consolidations, and preparing the company for audit. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyse management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Oversee the consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls. Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate a smooth audit process. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial reports for regulatory submissions. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications and Experience ACCA/ACA qualification or equivalent. Financial Services experience. Experience working within an FCA regulated environment.
