Role Purpose: As the Lead Visual Merchandising (VM) Design, you will be at the forefront of creating innovative and compelling visual merchandising solutions across all consumer touchpoints for both direct and indirect channels. This role blends creative vision with technical expertise to develop strategic designs and global guidelines that align with our brand's vision and business objectives. Key Accountabilities: Creative Execution: Lead the end-to-end creative process, from concept ideation to prototyping. Produce high-quality concept sketches, mood boards, 3D visuals, and presentations to bring ideas to life. Collaborate with external design agencies to deliver creative solutions that meet business needs. Strategic Design Thinking: Develop design solutions that align with business and brand strategies. Design for campaigns, product launches, and VM systems, ensuring all elements are cohesive and impactful. Design Adaptation: Work closely with the Head of VM Design to adapt global design solutions to specific market needs. Provide detailed guidelines, assets, and instructions to ensure consistency across global markets. Design Development: Refine and evolve global brand identity across multiple formats and channels. Lead co-creation workshops with cross-functional teams to generate innovative solutions. Translate customer experience goals into compelling, effective designs that drive engagement. Design Innovation: Continuously push creative boundaries and stay ahead of retail trends. Champion the use of sustainable materials and implement processes of continuous improvement. Collaboration & Advocacy Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams and stakeholders. Act as an advocate for VM design across senior management, ensuring its integral role in strategic business initiatives. Background & Qualifications: Education: BA/BS or MA/MS in Design, Retail Design, or a related field. Experience: 6 years in design roles within corporate or consultancy settings. Proven success in managing design projects that are on time and within budget. Technical Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (essential). Skilled in at least one 3D design tool, such as SketchUp, 3DS Max, or Rhino. Experienced in prototyping, material research, and visual merchandising design. Soft Skills: Strong collaborator, problem-solver, and influencer. Comfortable navigating corporate complexity and working with diverse teams.
