SIC Academy – Smart Infrastructure Specialist, Grumo Nevano

Location: Grumo Nevano, Italy Overview: Autostrade per l’Italia has organized the fourth edition of SIC Academy (Smart Infrastructures and Construction Academy) This initiative will take place primarily at the University of Federico II in Naples and will provide advanced training activities in the field of infrastructures related to the road system (such as bridges, viaducts, tunnels, etc.), combining advanced concepts of civil engineering, management engineering, construction engineering, construction services, and Industry 4.0 (smart infrastructures). Employment and Hiring Process: Students admitted to SIC Academy will sign an indefinite contract for the purpose of employment through an external partner on the first day of the Academy, limited to the training period of the Academy (6 months). During the 6 months of the Academy, the company will provide housing solutions for participants residing more than 100 km away from the Campus of San Giovanni a Teduccio. Participants who successfully pass the intermediate test, administered halfway through the training course, will receive a letter of commitment for employment with an apprenticeship contract (duration 24 months) in one of the companies of the Autostrade per l’Italia Group located throughout the national territory, effective from the conclusion of the Academy. Attendance Requirement: Attendance at course activities is mandatory for at least 90% of the total scheduled hours (in-person). Missing more than 10% of the total hours dedicated to training activities requiring presence will lead to automatic exclusion from the course. In case of excessive absence, poor performance, or unacceptable behavior, participants may be excluded from continuing the activities of SIC Academy.
