SIC Academy – Smart Infrastructure Specialist, Volla

Location: Volla, Italy Overview: Autostrade per l’Italia has organized the fourth edition of SIC Academy (Smart Infrastructures and Construction Academy) The initiative will take place primarily at the University Federico II of Naples and will consist of advanced training activities in the field of infrastructures related to the road system (such as bridges, viaducts, tunnels, etc.), combining advanced concepts of civil engineering, management engineering, construction engineering, construction services, and Industry 4.0 (smart infrastructures). Employment and Hiring Mode: Students admitted to SIC Academy according to the procedures defined in this announcement (https://www.siacademy.unina.it/images/2025/Bando_SIC_Academy_2024-25.pdf) will sign an indefinite-term contract for the purpose of employment with one of the companies of the Autostrade per l'Italia Group limited to the training period of the Academy (6 months) through an external partner on the first day of the Academy. The company will provide a housing solution during the 6 months of the Academy for participants residing more than 100 km away from the San Giovanni a Teduccio Campus. Participants who successfully pass the intermediate test administered halfway through the training course will receive a letter of commitment for employment with an apprenticeship contract (duration of 24 months) in one of the companies of the Autostrade per l'Italia Group located throughout the country, effective from the conclusion of the Academy. Attendance at course activities is mandatory for at least 90% of the total scheduled hours (in-person). Failure to attend for more than 10% of the total hours dedicated to the training activities requiring attendance will result in automatic exclusion from the course. In case of lack of attendance, poor performance, or any censurable behavior, the participant may be excluded from continuing the activities of SIC Academy.
