Job Description Job Description Minimum 1 years special education experience required. A school in Revere, MA is currently looking for a Special Education Teacher for the 2024 - 2025 school year. Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student. Create a supportive, engaging, and adaptive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth for all students. Utilize a variety of teaching methods and strategies to address different learning styles and needs. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional approaches as needed. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to share progress, set goals, and address any concerns. Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and IEPs. Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices in special education and child development. Details: Full Time Contract 2024 - 2025 School Year Caseload: Middle School Moderate Caseload with focus on Life Skills Teacher will have two paraprofessionals in classroom to assist. Subseparate classroom with 12 students at a time. Additional caseload details will be discussed on the virtual interview.
