Job Overview We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Cardiology/Respiratory Services team at Wythenshawe Hospital. This role provides essential cover for long-term sickness and maternity leave, offering an opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' needs and develop personalized care plans. Facilitate safe and effective discharges, including equipment provision and post-discharge support. Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care. Provide expertise in cardiology and respiratory rehabilitation, promoting recovery and optimizing physical function. Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings and service improvements. Requirements HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist. NHS experience, with a solid understanding of assessment and discharge processes. Good knowledge of equipment provision and collaborative team working. Experience in cardiology/respiratory services is desirable but not essential. A car driver is preferred but not mandatory.
