Facilities Manager

We are looking for a proactive and highly skilled Facilities Manager to join our dynamic, in-house UK Property & Facilities team. Client Details Large UK based Private health insurance company. We're part of the biggest global insurance company, providing award-winning health and life insurance. Facilities Manager - Landmark West End Building Location : West End, London Salary : £60,000 per annum Bonus : Up to 8% annually (two bonuses per year) Description Key Responsibilities : Oversee the day-to-day management of a 20,000 sq ft space within a prestigious West End building. Lead and manage a small team of 3 direct reports, ensuring high performance and strong team collaboration. Manage key contractors, ensuring effective service delivery and adherence to contractual agreements. Maintain smooth operation of all soft services , including a high-profile on-site catering facility, general facilities and premises functions, and small-scale projects. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders , particularly senior executives, ensuring their needs are met and facilities are always optimised. Provide technical expertise to resolve day-to-day operational issues and assist in long-term facilities planning. Profile About You : Extensive experience in facilities management, with a strong background in managing both hard and soft services. Proven track record in contractor management and delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with senior stakeholders and managing expectations. Strong technical knowledge and practical problem-solving abilities. A proactive approach, with the ability to think strategically and ensure the smooth running of all facilities operations.
