Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join the dynamic A&E team. The role involves providing rapid assessments, implementing interventions, and ensuring safe and timely discharges for patients presenting to the emergency department. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in the A&E department. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patients' needs. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate smooth patient flow and discharge planning. Provide expert advice to patients, families, and healthcare staff on functional independence and rehabilitation. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with Trust policies. Requirements HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist. Proven experience in acute care or emergency settings. Strong decision-making and clinical reasoning skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
