Job Overview An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist to join the South Staffordshire Integrated Community Occupational Therapy Team - Adult Social Care. Based in Lichfield/Burton, this temporary position is ideal for an experienced Occupational Therapist with a passion for supporting adults with physical disabilities and long-term health conditions. The role focuses on enabling individuals to maintain independence within their homes and community through targeted occupational therapy interventions. Key Responsibilities Provide assessments and interventions to support adults with physical disabilities and long-term health conditions. Develop personalized care plans to promote independence and quality of life. Work closely with individuals and their families to identify needs and deliver appropriate solutions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a coordinated approach to care. Monitor and review progress, making necessary adjustments to interventions. Contribute to the team's goals by engaging in service development and clinical audits. Requirements HCPC Registration: Essential. Experience: Previous experience in social care occupational therapy or community settings is highly desirable. Skills: Strong communication, team-working, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge: Familiarity with supporting adults with physical disabilities and long-term conditions.
