Obstetrics Sonographer needed in Birmingham for long termlocum contract to start ASAP Location: Birmingham, UKContract Type: Long-term Locum ContractWorking Days: Tuesday - FridayHours: 8:30am-17:00pmRate: £45 per hourStart Date: ASAP Qualifications: Postgraduate Diploma (Pg Dip) in Medical Ultrasound 2-3 years of UK obstetrics experience DQASS accreditation Key Responsibilities: First Trimester Screening: Perform Down's, Patau, and Edward syndrome screenings, including DQASS and NT screening. Growth Scans: Conduct detailed fetal growth scans to monitor development. Doppler Studies: Perform umbilical artery, middle cerebral artery, and uterine artery Doppler scans. Anomaly Scans: Conduct comprehensive anomaly scans to detect any fetal abnormalities. Skills and Attributes: Proficiency in obstetric ultrasound techniques and procedures. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients. Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
