This critical initiative will focus on enhancing operational risk frameworks, ensuring effective risk identification, mitigation, and governance across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement operational risk frameworks, policies, and procedures to align with regulatory expectations and industry best practices. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, identifying key operational risk exposures across business functions. Lead the design and execution of risk mitigation strategies, including controls testing and scenario analysis. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure operational risk is effectively integrated into business decision-making. Provide oversight and challenge for key risk events, root cause analyses, and remediation plans. Support the development of risk governance structures, ensuring clarity and accountability in risk management processes. Deliver regular reporting and insights to senior leadership, risk committees, and regulatory bodies. Required Experience and Skills VP-level experience in Operational Risk within the banking sector . Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks, methodologies, and regulatory requirements. Experience in leading risk identification and mitigation initiatives across complex business functions. Expertise in incident management, control assessments, and risk appetite development. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
