Freight Operations Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager Multi Modal, Air, Road and Sea Must be career driven as there is potential to be a promotion to Director level Overseeing upto to 10 opearational staff and 5 Drivers The role involves: Strong Operational and Commercial experience in both Import and Export operations, including Customs. Organise and oversee the daily operations including Transport, Export and Import department. Able to mentor, train and develop the team of 4 staff. Customs and compliance experience, responsible for internal controls and able to communicate updates to both staff and clients. Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to build new and existing client relationships working with the Business Development manager. Proven ability in cost saving and rates negotiation. Monday to Friday with flexibility for some out of hours and weekends when needed We are looking for experience on all of the above, or if you are at supervisory level and looking for the next step, ADZN1_UKTJ
