Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in an acute hospital setting. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to patient recovery and rehabilitation in a fast-paced and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs. Develop and deliver personalized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and independence. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Educate and support patients, their families, and carers throughout the rehabilitation process. Maintain accurate patient records and actively contribute to discharge planning. Requirements: HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist. Proven experience in an acute hospital setting, managing complex caseloads. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team. A proactive and flexible approach to patient care and teamwork.
