Awash with nautical spirit, our gem on the Italian Riviera celebrates the art of Ligurian living in its purest form. We are looking for a Commis de Bar for the next season 2025 to join our Bar team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity, and community. Reports to Bar Supervisor. Responsibilities: Fulfil the Bar operations assisting with service, setup, mise en place, and cleaning, according to the Belmond policies, high standards, and procedures; Monitor all aspects of the guests’ experience, from the bar layout before their arrival to the experience they receive during the service. Act to enhance a flawless service and anticipate guests’ needs; Support all other team members with the service; Establish and maintain good relationships with all guests and handle requests and enquiries. Requirements: Collaboration: be able and willing to work as a team player; Drive results: provide genuine and consistent high levels of service by anticipating and exceeding expectations of guests and colleagues; Global perspective: treat each other with respect and inclusiveness regardless of position, level, or background; Other requirements: Tourism or Hospitality degree preferred; Fluent in Italian and basic level of English; Previous professional experience in a similar role, also with school internships; Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally; HACCP Certification; Belmond and you: We offer seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L.
